Kids Off The Kerb
Kids Off The Kerb Ltd ACN 127 220 142 (Kids Off The Kerb) is a not-for-profit organisation that has been established to directly assist disadvantaged and at risk young people in local communities by providing them with support and linking them into productive activities and programs, including education, training and employment.
Working with government, corporate businesses, local services and youth support organizations, Kids Off The Kerb's projects are individually-tailored and flexible to fit the needs of each young person. Wherever possible, young people participating in Kids Off The Kerb's projects will have the chance to develop business enterprises that are economically sustainable in their own right.
Kids Off The Kerb is especially active in using the environmental and recycling platform to create and sustain opportunities for young people.
Kids Off The Kerb is a public company limited by guarantee and has been endorsed by the Australian Taxation Office as a Deductible Gift Recipient.
Kids Off The Kerb was founded by Nathan Stirling. Nathan is a lawyer who has over 20 years experience in the not-for-profit sector. Nathan's academic qualifications include a Juris Doctor in Law and a Masters Degree in Management.
In 1999 Nathan was made a Member of the Order of Australia in recognition of his management and contribution to youth welfare programs in Australia.

Rachel Harvey - Rachel's background is in business administration within the online, photographic, film and television industry. Rachel is currently studying her Masters in Secondary School Teaching.
Melissa Wicks - Melissa is completing her undergraduate double degree in Commerce/Arts, with majors in Accounting, Economics and Japanese. Melissa has over 2 years experience working for accounting firms.
Jolene Chan - Jolene is a first year student of Bachelor of Environment and is planning to major in Environmental Engineering. She aims to help reduce landfill through In Your Shoes.
Judy Wu - Judy is a second year student studying Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Accounting and Finance. She loves social networking and is interested in technology that supports environmental causes.
Xing Qi - Xing Qi is pursuing a Bachelor in Horticulture (Honours) and will be working with the National Parks Board of Singapore upon her studies next year. She has a passion for creating a clean and green environment.
Christine Wu - Christine has a Bachelor in accounting and is currently pursuing her Masters in Accounting. She is passionate about sustainability issues.

Laura Chen - Laura is a second year student of Bachelor of Biomedicine and is planning to major in Neuroscience. She is passionate about social and environmental issues.
Mia Kirkinis - Mia is currently in her second year of the Bachelor of Biomedicine. She believes that the environment is extremely important and by involving the community we can make a significant difference.
Eveline Poernamo - Eveline is a second year student of Actuarial Studies. She is interested in arts and physics. She enjoys hiking and travelling.
Brian Tang - Brian is currently enrolled in Master of Construction Management and is expected to graduate in 2011. He enjoys travelling, learning new languages and playing cricket.
Indrawan Wijaya - Indra is a penultimate year student of Bachelor of Engineering (Chemical). He enjoys outdoor activities and scenery. He hopes to contribute to the sustainability of environment.
Nicole Yang - Nicole is currently enrolled in Master of Finance and is expected to complete her postgraduate studies by the end of 2011. She enjoys travelling, ice skating and yoga. She is involved in various non-for-profit charity events.
Students Ambassador Leadership Program
The Student Ambassador Leadership Program (SALP) is part of the Leadership, Involvement & Volunteer Experience Unit (LIVE) of the University of Melbourne which helps to support the University of Melbourne's commitment to developing graduates who are leaders in communities, attuned to cultural diversity and active global citizens.
SALP is an extra-curricular program which provides opportunities for young people to create networks and develop their qualities and skills via active engagement within the University and volunteering within the wider community.
